+1, thanks for this. We use Pawl as the WebSocket client, and it's the last dependency blocking our move to Guzzle 8.

I ran tests/unit on this branch (PHP 8.1):

Once RFC6455 0.4.2 is tagged, could this also change the rfc6455 constraint to ^0.3.1 || ^0.4.2? 0.3.x requires psr7 ^1.7 || ^2, so it can't be installed next to psr7 3. 0.4.0 and 0.4.1 can, and then the client fails at runtime instead of at install time.
