VistoCards

VistoCards is a cross-platform digital visiting card application built using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.

The application allows users to create a digital visiting card, generate a QR code containing their contact details, scan another VistoCard, save contacts locally, add scanned contacts directly to the phone contacts, and share the digital card.

How It Works

1. The user enters their professional details.
2. The application creates a digital visiting card.
3. The contact information is converted into JSON data.
4. The JSON data is embedded into a QR code.
5. Another user scans the QR code using the VistoCards camera scanner.
6. The application reads and validates the scanned contact information.
7. The user can add the contact directly to the phone contacts.
8. The user can also save the contact inside VistoCards.
9. Saved contacts can be viewed and deleted from the My Contacts section.

Contact Storage

VistoCards uses AsyncStorage to store contacts locally on the device.

The application checks the email address or phone number before saving a contact to prevent duplicate entries.

Permissions

The application requires:

• Camera permission for scanning QR codes
• Contacts permission for adding contacts to the phone
