Powerplug BUTTON1#ACTION=SINGLE IF statement not working

Hi,
I have a Powerplug Gosund EP2 (ESP8285N08) running Tasmota V15.2.0 and want to change the default Button action.
When the button is pressed once it needs to check if power was ON already. If ON do nothing, if OFF switch power ON and set a timer to turn it off in X minutes.
When the button is pressed twice, the power needs to toggle on/off

I created following Rule:
Rule1 ON Button1#Action=SINGLE DO IF (Power1==0) backlog Power1 1; RuleTimer1 15 ENDIF ENDON ON Button1#Action=DOUBLE DO Power1 TOGGLE ENDON ON Rules#Timer=1 DO Power1 OFF ENDON

Button1#Action=DOUBLE is working as it should.
Button1#Action=SINGLE is always executing "Power1 1; RuleTimer1 15" ignoring the IF statement

I have tried several different IF commands but it cant get it to work properly.
Does someone have an idea what I do wrong.

BTW. Your log does not match the rule set you posted first. IF (Power1#state==0) is very invalid, you cannot use trigger expressions with # anywhere but in the trigger part of the rule.

Thanks for the Rule and explanation. Works as expected now.
These are my very first steps in playing around with IOT devices and Tasmota.
I still have a lot to learn :-)
